Can a patient be put on a combination of Desferal and x-jade together? Would that create any medical or psychological side effects?

My friends; this answer was given to me verbally by Dr. Angastiniotis due to a load of work that he has.
Combination chelation with Desferal and X-Jade is still under trial and there are no specific or final results, but many patients do have this combination and there seem to be no problems. As well, Desferal and X-jade combination has the same psychological effect as any other combination; like Desferal and Ferriprox. In Cyprus and other parts of the world, thalassaemics take combined chelation and there don't seem to be any psychological problems but in case there seem to be one, then the patient should talk to an expert.
